By typing my name below I accept the general terms of volunteering at AWARE, Inc.

  • AWARE offers a combined interactive, didactic and self-directed learning program for volunteers and interns. Pennsylvania law requires all volunteers who work directly with domestic or sexual violence victims, or who work with client records, to complete this mandatory training.
  • General volunteers and interns who are not working in direct services are required to complete a general agency orientation and confidentiality training session.
  • All volunteers and interns need to complete Act 33 and Act 34 clearances.
  • AWARE asks for a one-year commitment from direct service volunteers who successfully complete the mandatory training.
  • I understand that AWARE, Inc. relies on volunteers to ensure continuity of services to victims of domestic and sexual violence.
