Dave Leyde

Board Treasurer

Dave Leyde serves as Branch Manager at First National Bank (FNB) in New Wilmington, PA, bringing more than 25 years of experience in the banking industry. Based in Sharpsville, PA, Dave lives with his wife and their three daughters and remains deeply committed to both his professional and community roles. He currently serves as Treasurer of the Board for Aware and has previously held the position of Board President twice, along with chairing other nonprofit boards throughout his career. His background in finance and marketing, combined with extensive leadership experience, allows him to contribute meaningfully to strategic planning and organizational growth.

Dave joined Aware’s Board in the mid-2000s after being encouraged by a colleague, and what began as a short-term commitment has grown into a lasting dedication. He is especially inspired by the frontline staff who support victims of domestic violence and is passionate about strengthening the organization’s impact. Dave hopes to support initiatives that educate young people on recognizing unhealthy relationships and foster stronger collaboration among community partners to better address domestic violence in Mercer County.
